Condé Nast International Launches B2B Title
Condé Nast International has announced the launch of Vogue Business, a B2B business-focused fashion publication that will offer analysis of the fashion, luxury and beauty industries.
January 28, 2019
Based in London, Vogue Business will leverage its knowledge of 29 markets including China and the United States, and will connect its global portfolio of brands including Vogue, GQ, Glamour and Wired.
Vogue Business will operate as a separate entity from Vogue and as an independently operated publishing group. Rooted in facts and data, the title will analyze trends and global market dynamics. The editorial team will spotlight the intersections between fashion and corresponding industries, such as technology.
"In a landscape of media consolidation, the launch of a new global title is rare, " says Wolfgang Blau, president, Condé Nast International. "Nobody else in the world employs more fashion journalists than us; our global network of journalists, digital editors and researchers are immersed in the relevant fashion trends in all inhabited continents, which gives the Vogue Business team access to an unparalleled depth of knowledge, from local design trends to changes in manufacturing, training, technology and distribution.”
Vogue Business will be edited by Lauren Indvik, a business and fashion journalist and the former editorial director of Fashionista.com. For the past two years, she has overseen the Vogue International news and function team in London, partnering with Vogue teams worldwide.
Vogue Business’ content will provide:
An analysis of trends in the fashion industry such as design and manufacturing, marketing, distribution, show production and talent search;
A look at the impact of wider global market dynamics including climate change and geopolitics;
Insight into cultural patterns and changes that will impact retail and;
Coverage of technological and scientific advances that will affect the ways products are produced, marketed and sold.
Vogue Business will kick off with a newsletter and will mark a new approach to launching products at Condé Nast. Users can subscribe to Vogue Business beginning Jan. 29.
