The Natural History Museum has joined forces with British brand, Biscuiteers, to create a three-piece hand-iced biscuit collection, intricately designed to celebrate the museum’s collections.
Biscuiteers is renowned for its exquisitely hand-iced biscuit collections. Each biscuit is made from locally sourced ingredients, hand-iced by artists in London and presented in illustrated keepsake packaging. Sustainability is at the core of Biscuiteers’ values, with 100% recyclable packaging and a commitment to zero waste to landfill.
The collection pays homage to the museum’s iconic nature and dinosaur specimens. Highlights of the range, which was brokered by the museum’s agent, IPR Licensing, include a small letter-box gift featuring a fearsome T-Rex, a medium letter-box gift showcasing Diplodocus alongside his lush vegetation snacks and a medium tin with an assortment of natural history stars, from dinosaurs and woolly mammoths to dodos and blue whales.
“As long-term fans of Biscuiteers – and regular customers ourselves – we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with a brand that we love,” says Maxine Lister, head, licensing, Natural History Museum. “Having gifted Biscuiteers products for many years, it is such a treat to see some of the museum’s finest specimens, from dodos to butterflies, dinosaurs to whales, transformed into delicious biscuits. We are very excited for the launch and look forward to growing this relationship in the future.”
“What could possibly be better than a biscuit Tyrannosaurus?,” says Harriet Hastings, co-founder, Biscuiteers. “We are so happy to be launching this collection with the Natural History Museum, the home of all the best dinosaurs! We are sure that these are going to be a big hit with our customers and look forward to launching Biscuiteers in the NHM.”
