Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products has launched a new merchandise collection inspired by the upcoming action-adventure film from Warner Bros. Pictures, "Blue Beetle." A wide range of "Blue Beetle" products from global partners like Funko, Spin Master, McFarlane Toys and more will be available when "Blue Beetle" comes to North American theaters on Aug. 18.  

"Blue Beetle's first feature film inspired our team to develop a varied, cross-category collection that brings the vibrant visuals, humor, action and heart of the film into the lives of fans around the world," says Pam Lifford, president, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Brands, Franchises and Experiences. "This is an incredible opportunity for us to introduce the DC Superhero to more fans and to extend the storytelling so they can bring Blue Beetle, and Jaime's family and story, to life for themselves."  

WBDGCP's "Blue Beetle" merchandise comes from licensees worldwide. It includes exclusives direct from Warner Bros. to fans through its DC Shop in categories ranging from toys and collectibles to apparel and home goods. Here are some of the "Blue Beetle" products:  

Toys and collectibles  

  • Spin Master's 12-Inch "Blue Beetle" action figures feature detailed sculpts of Blue Beetle in Hero-Mode and Carapax in his red suit. The Battle-Mode Blue Beetle figure has lights, battle sounds and phrases with the press of a button and swap between three interchangeable blaster accessories.  

  • McFarlane Toys has created a line of action figures and statues based on "Blue Beetle." There is a 12" scale statue adorned in the same suit from the film. Fans can expand their collection with the Blue Beetle in Battle Mode 7" scale action figure designed with ultra-articulation and a Blue Beetle scale action figure with energy rings, energy sword, energy construct and base. Additionally, there will be a McFarlane's Carapax mega figure. DC Direct, sold through DC Shop, offers fans a Blue Beetle 12" resin statue featuring high-end deco with sculpt details.  

  • Funko's collection dedicated to the "Blue Beetle" lineup features new Pop! Figures showcasing Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes and Carapax. Receiving a SODA makeover, this look of Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes and Nana are also available for collectors worldwide.

  • Build-A-Bear has a new "Blue Beetle" costume. The blue bodysuit costume includes a plush antenna on the back and a mask with openings for the bear's ears. This gift set will be available online and in stores at Build-A-Bear in August.   

  • Other collectibles in development include the Prime 1 Studio "Blue Beetle" 1:3 Scale Statue.

Fashion, footwear and accessories  

  • Rubies offers exclusive "Blue Beetle" Halloween costumes and accessories inspired by the upcoming WB summer action adventure. "Blue Beetle" costumes, masks and gloves are available in child and adult sizes at retailers nationwide and Exclusive versions of the child "Blue Beetle" costume will also be available in Walmart and Target this Halloween.  

  • The Bioworld "Blue Beetle" collection includes neon-colored socks, T-shirts and a "Blue Beetle" backpack with a neon reflective glow. Partners Trevco and Bentex will offer a range of apparel, like graphic T-shirts and children's sweatshirts and sweatpants; and from Komar, children's pajamas featuring the DC Superhero, with Scarab-inspired sleepwear and underwear on sale at Walmart. "Blue Beetle" officially licensed shirts, hoodies, and more by Mad Engine Global are coming to Walmart, Target, Kohl's and Hot Topic.  

  • The Scarab Magnetic Pin by Salesone pays tribute to the Blue Beetle's signature emblem, available exclusively at GameStop.  

Home goods  

  • Trevco's home collection includes a blanket and coordinated drinkware decked out with "Blue Beetle" imagery, while Trends International's premium posters and bookmarks are available with various framing and mounting options. Franco's movie-themed bedding collection, including throws, blankets, pillows, a Pillow Buddy, sheets and comforters for kids' rooms, is available. Trend Setters offers multiple versions of "Blue Beetle" plus "Blue Beetle" mugs with neon pink and neon blue images.  

Food and beverage  

  • The Blue Beetle: Horchata-flavored coffee from family-owned company Comics on Coffee is a blend infused with cinnamon, vanilla and brown sugar.  

  • G FUEL Energy will be releasing a zero-sugar energy drink flavor inspired by "Blue Beetle," which will be available at in a 40-serving powdered Energy Formula tub as well as a limited-edition collector's box and shaker cup.  

Movie Theater  

  • Snap will be offering a "Blue Beetle" Plush, "Blue Beetle" popcorn container/backpack and a "Blue Beetle" beverage buddy in North American theaters.  

DC Shop  

  • Warner Bros. Discovery's DC Shop now has exclusive apparel and home goods. The new offerings include the exclusive "Blue Beetle" Scarab New Era hat featuring raised and beveled shapes, exclusive "Blue Beetle" tees, plus an exclusive Morphing mug and MightyPrint "Blue Beetle" poster. Also coming soon is an exclusive pin of the Scarab.  

  • While at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 from July 19 through July 23, DC Shop also offered fans a limited inventory of two new "Blue Beetle"-inspired T-shirts for sale only in the DC Booth. Fans could choose from the Reyes Motors (DC Shop convention exclusive) tee and the Gotham City Law (DC Shop convention exclusive) tee.  

These items are available at U.S. and international retailers, including Target, Amazon, Walmart, Party City, GameStop, Hot Topic, Kohls and Macy's.
