Three merchandise partners have joined the program for animated series "Saint Seiya," according to Toei Animation and Promotional Partners Worldwide.
The new licensees are:
Bandai (China) for a collectible toy line in 2011
Meterbonwe (China) for a line of young adult clothing for launch in 2011
Tian Yi Audio & Visual (China) for a DVD box set in 2011
"PPW has great experience promoting and merchandising products in China," says Kanji Kazahaya, Toei's director of international. "With the new deals currently in hand, we hope to explore more potential licensees to expand the Saint Seiya market."
