Philip Whitney has joined forces with author Eric Carle to create a gift collection based on his various children’s book titles.

The collaboration will see Whitney working in collaboration with the Joester Loria Group on a selection of picture frames, photo albums, journals, keepsake books, storage boxes, wall signs, monthly calendars, and trinket boxes based on The World of Eric Carle franchise.

Products are expected to launch in July at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Market.

“We are so excited to work and grow with the Joester Loria Group on The World of Eric Carle license,” Max Harris, president, Philip Whitney. “This is an iconic brand that resonates fondly with adults and children alike who have grown up reading Eric Carle’s books. For over 50 years, readers have developed an attachment to the characters, artwork, and educational experiences the stories prompt, and we are honored to be part of this legacy’s expansion.”

The announcement comes following the 50th anniversary of the Very Hungry Caterpillar series of children’s books. Carle’s long-running series celebrated its birthday with a slew of branding partnerships.
