Hall of Fame football player and coach Mike Ditka has teamed up with cigar maker Camacho for Ditka-branded cigars.

Camacho, part of the Oettinger Davidoff Group portfolio, will develop a series of new cigar lines. The first line will launch later this year, with more releases scheduled for early 2013.

Ditka will also serve as a brand ambassador for the Ditka cigar range at select nationwide events.

"Ditka is an absolute legend, and I cannot express the excitement felt about this new partnership,” says Dylan Austin, head of marketing, Camacho. “Coach [Ditka] truly embodies the bold and outspoken spirit of our brand and it's great to have him as an ambassador and partner moving forward."
