The Dr. Seuss-inspired range includes crafts such as creating foam masks, assembling mosaics, constructing clocks, stringing together letters and making puppets. More products will be added in spring 2011.
"When we put together the Michaels line of Dr. Seuss products we paid close attention marrying our core tenets as a brand with the developmental needs of various age groups," says Susan Brandt, president of licensing and marketing at Dr. Seuss Enterprises. "To consumers, Dr. Seuss speaks to creativity, education and fun, and we spent a lot of time with our partner Colorbok tailoring a crafting program for Michaels that will resonate with those core tenets and provide fun activities appropriate for children of all ages."
