Guru Studios Adds Business Development Exec

Abraham is the latest addition to Guru’s growing executive team.

NORTH AMERICA–Guru Studios has tapped Jonathan Abraham to serve as the company's senior director of sales and new business development.

In his new role, Abraham will work to increase the global sale of Guru’s original children’s and family content including its anchor preschool series “True and the Rainbow Kingdom.” Additional responsibilities will include developing new business opportunities for the company across licensing, consumer products, broadcast and emerging platforms.

Most recently, Abraham served as director of international sales and acquisitions at Portfolio Entertainment.

“Abraham comes with a wealth of experience creating new partnerships in the kids’ business,” says Frank Falcone, president and executive creative director, Guru Studio. “We are thrilled to have him lead our sales efforts and bring our growing roster of original kids and family content to a global audience.”
