Studio 100 has appointed Tim Brooke-Hunt as advisor to the Studio 100 Group board of directors and president of the board of Flying Bark Productions in Australia.
In his new roles, Brooke-Hunt will advise the group on its animation activities and guide Flying Bark’s future development. He will work closely with Jim Ballantine, who remains general manager and executive producer of Flying Bark’s TV and feature film projects.
Flying Bark currently has three TV series in production, “Tashi,” “Heidi” and “Vic the Viking,” as well as the two feature films Blinky Bill and Maya the Bee. It is also developing two additional TV series–“Skippy” and “Lulu.”
Brooke-Hunt served for six years as head of children's content for ABC TV and controller of the channels ABC3 and ABC4Kids in Australia. He also spent eight years as executive producer at Pacific Vision and Sticky Pictures and nine years as executive producer and director at Yoram Gross Studios (now Flying Bark Productions). Brooke-Hunt is also a founding director of the Asian Animation Summit.
“After our phenomenal growth over the past four years, we are excited to welcome Tim to the Studio 100 group,” says Hans Bourlon, chief executive officer, Studio 100 Group. “His wealth of experience will help take Studio 100 to new international markets and help us continue to build a sustainable business."
