Endemol Shine Sale Halted

Endemol Shine is no longer being sold, as reported by Variety.

According to the outlet, the company’s co-owners, 21st Century Fox and Apollo Global Management, have decided to end the sale.

This summer, news broke that the co-owners were seeking interested buyers. French company Banijay Group, among others, was reportedly in advanced talks to purchase Endemol Shine in recent weeks. Endemol Shine grew out of a merger between Endemol and Shine in 2014.

The programming giant is responsible for such titles as “Black Mirror,” “Peaky Blinders” and “MasterChef.”
