CPLG has promoted Stacy Scimia to now serve as the retail and category director for the U.K. where she will oversee the U.K. retail team and softlines. Scimia has served on the CPLG team for 15 years, beginning her tenure in product development and later moving into softlines sales. Laura Rowland joined CPLG in October as category manager of softlines. Rowland previously worked at French Connection as lining manager and was part of the licensing team at Austin Reed Group before that.

Emily French has been promoted to category director of hardlines and publishing. She has worked at CPLG for more than five years and has a background in hardlines, including gifting, toys, stationery and more. She will oversee Deborah Skeffington who recently signed on as sales executive of hardlines and publishing. Skeffington previously served as sales and licensing executive at Carnaby International.

“Both Stacy and Emily are an integral part of the CPLG U.K. team, and this is a natural next step for them,” says Maarten Weck, managing director, Northern Europe, CPLG. “They are experts in their categories and are well-respected within the U.K. licensing industry. With the support of both Laura, Deborah and the wider U.K. team, we are perfectly placed to maximize our properties at both a licensee and retail level.”
