Pasetta Productions has announced the return of the classic British game show, “Catch Phrase,” with plans for a global licensing programming from DRG.
The game show will air on ITV in the U.S., and has been updated with a new set, 3D graphics and a new end game.
The series, which first aired on ITV in 1986 and ran for 17 years, challenges players to identify a familiar phrase represented by a piece of animation.
“We are thrilled to be bringing this ever-popular family show to a new audience, and it is the perfect format to translate globally to a wide variety of licensed products especially digital and interactive across multiple platforms,” says Charlotte Hargreaves, senior vice president, marketing and business development, DRG.
