Aardman Gives 75 Percent of Business to Employees

Aardman is the studio behind “Wallace & Gromit,” “Shaun the Sheep” and “Morph.”

Founders Peter Lord and David Sproxton will retain one-quarter of parent group Aardman Holdings and will receive a multimillion-pound payout.

Employees will own their controlling stake in the company through a trust.

Employees who have worked for the company for at least three months are entitled to a bonus.

The deal gives employees the ability to have a say in the company's operations through a workers council. The new senior team will operate on a board of directors that will make decisions and oversee staff bonuses.
