Iconix, PVH Corp. and Sequential to speak at conference and networking event

The event, which will take place at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, will feature Dave Jones of Iconix Brand Group, who will present the opening keynote March 2, Ken Wyse of PVH Corp., Robert D’Loren of Xcel Brands and Yehuda Shmidman of Sequential Brands Group, who will open the second day of the conference March 3. Additionally, actress and lifestyle brand owner Drew Barrymore will also make an appearance alongside Perry Wolfman of her brand management agency CAA-GBG to discuss the world of celebrity lifestyle extensions.

Meanwhile, PVH Corp., the world’s third largest licensor with $18 billion in retail sales of licensed merchandise sold worldwide in 2015, has a vast portfolio that includes such iconic names as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Ken Wyse, the company’s president of global licensing and PR will focus on the global expansion of PVH’s business.
Then Robert D’Loren, chairman and CEO of Xcel Brands will take the stage. Founded in 2011, this brand management company generates $500 million in annual retail sales across its portfolio, which includes the Isaac Mizrahi, Judith Ripka, and H Halston brands. D’Loren will discuss the company’s key strategy to “differentiate by design.”
The second day of the NYC Summit, will open with a keynote from Yehuda Shmidman, CEO of Sequential Brands Group, another top licensor. Sequential Brands ranks at No. 14 on
list, reporting $4 billion in retail sales from licensed merchandise worldwide in 2015. Founded five years ago, Sequential has achieved phenomenal growth in the last few years, more than doubling its size from 2014 to 2015. Shmidman will discuss new and exciting initiatives for the Martha Stewart brand as well as other opportunities for the company’s portfolio, which also includes Jessica Simpson, William Rast, Emeril Lagasse, Heelys, Avia and more.
