UFC has announced a new multi-year licensing agreement with Shinhan Korea, a lifestyle retail brand in South Korea and Japan. The partnership, negotiated by IMG, grants Shinhan the rights to manufacture and distribute officially licensed UFC apparel and accessories in South Korea and Japan.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Shinhan to provide our fans with a new and exciting line of UFC fan gear, lifestyle apparel and accessories,” says Tracey Bleczinski, senior vice president, global consumer products, UFC. “Shinhan has a great reputation for partnering with famous brands and we’re looking forward to collaborating with them on product lines and our first-ever retail locations.”

Under the terms of the agreement, Shinhan will create officially licensed UFC fan gear and lifestyle apparel for men, women and youth, including clothing, footwear, headwear, bags and other accessories. Shinhan will have the rights non-exclusively in South Korea and Japan.

“We would like to influence the trends of Korea to East Asia through a powerful sports brand like UFC and we will provide fans with the best sports experiences that fit UFC’s reputation,” says Han Chul Kim, president, Shinhan Korea.

In early 2022, fans will also be able to purchase UFC apparel and accessories from a wide selection of products such as jackets, hoodies, t-shirts, pants, shorts, leggings, footwear and more, at UFC’s first-ever UFC-branded retail stores, which are projected to open at select locations in both South Korea and Japan.

Shinhan will launch its UFC-branded fan gear and apparel line with an exclusive capsule collection this September, with fans in South Korea and Japan being able to purchase via online at UFCSport.
