Saban Brands has formed a new unit, Saban Brands Lifestyle Group, to drive expansion across its portfolio of fashion and lifestyle properties.

Saban Brands has formed a new unit, Saban Brands Lifestyle Group, to drive expansion across its portfolio of fashion and lifestyle properties.

At the same time, the company has also established the Saban Brands Entertainment Group to oversee the company's entertainment portfolio.

SBLG will manage Saban's lifestyle brands, which currently include Paul Frank and the recently acquired musician-inspired apparel and footwear brand Macbeth.

SBLG will be led by Dan Castle, managing director of strategic business development, who will continue to report to Elie Dekel, president of Saban Brands. Dekel will oversee the Entertainment Group.

The newly formed entertainment division SBEG will focus on powerhouse brands including Power Rangers, Julius Jr. and Digimon Fusion as well develop new content. Other Saban brands that fall under this division include Popples, Luna Petunia and Emojiville.

“We have proven our approach to brand management and expansion, so these new units were a natural progression for us,” says Dekel. “With the development of Saban Brands Lifestyle Group and Saban Brands Entertainment Group, we now have the opportunity to further elevate our current and future portfolio of properties in each of these sectors.”
