IMG Developing Creative, Event Production Service

IMG is in the process of developing a full-service creative and event production company named Focus, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

The new initiative is an attempt to bring original events and bespoke brand experiences under one roof. Focus will offer new clients access to fashion events, models, talent and venues and the creative network of its parent company, Endeavor. Focus will also offer planning, consulting and creative direction for fashion shows and other events.

Dominic Kaffa, vice president, creative and production, IMG will head the team, in addition to his current position. He is known for his instrumental role at New York Fashion Week.

Previously, Focus organized events for select clients within its properties, and the vision will now include external clients. Past projects including Prabal Gurung at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, Bibhu Mohapatra at Shenzhen Fashion Week and Akira and Blair Archibald at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, and Marvel Black Panther experience at New York Fashion Week. This September, Focus will work on the Angels exhibit and event for photographer Russell Ames as well as lead the technical process for Alber Elbaz’s collaboration with LeSportsac.
