Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group recently acquired independent game developer Snowblind Studios.

The Bothell, Wash.-based game studio has developed action role-playing games, such as Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Champions of Norrath and Justice League Heroes.

"This is a good fit for Warner Bros. and Snowblind Studios," says Kevin Tsujihara, president of Warner Bros. home entertainment group. "The arrangement broadens our portfolio with quality games and provides Snowblind with access to our global distribution and publishing capabilities."

Snowblind Studios is the third game company under Warner Bros., which also owns Monolith Productions and TT Games (Lego Batman: The Videogame). Monolith and Warner Bros. is gearing up to release F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin this month.
