The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced a new collaboration with garden furniture maker, Sitting Spiritually, with a new swing seat that celebrates both the seasons and the 20th anniversary of the maker of bespoke, hand-finished wooden garden swing seats, pergolas, garden benches and rope swings.
“The RHS Four Seasons Swing Seat is a worthy addition to a highly successful partnership and a perfect way to celebrate our 20th anniversary as a leader in the design of bespoke garden furniture,” says Martin Young, founder, Sitting Spiritually of Lyme Regis. “Our thanks to the RHS for supporting and inspiring us. Long may this partnership continue.”
Drawing inspiration from the RHS Four Seasons Bench launched in 2022, the RHS Four Seasons Swing Seat is made with FSC oak and is available in two frame types, Tranquillity or Kyokusen, and with four variations highlighted by four seasonal back styles in the form of hand-carved inserts: the daffodil, emblematic of spring’s renewal and hope; the rose, representing summer; the oak and acorn, symbolizing autumn’s strength and resilience and the snowdrop, representing winter.
A range of accessories – from embedded ammonites to drinks shelves – is also available to complement the swing seat.
“Sitting Spiritually’s new RHS-inspired and endorsed swing seat celebrates not just the ever-changing visual splendor of the seasons – which it does with breathtaking skill – but the 20th anniversary of one of this country’s finest garden furniture makers,” says Cathy Snow, licensing manager, The Royal Horticultural Society. “We are delighted to be partnering with this byword for British craftsmanship during this memorable anniversary.”
The RHS Four Seasons Swing Seat is available exclusively from the Sitting Spiritually website.
