British home and lifestyle brand, Laura Ashley, has expanded its product portfolio in the U.S. to include small kitchen appliances, in partnership with VQ, a British home electronics manufacturer.
After the success of the Laura Ashley small appliance collection across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, the two companies have partnered to develop a line of toasters and tea kettles for the U.S. market that combines Laura Ashley’s heritage and prints with VQ’s technology, function and style.
The multi-functional toaster, stovetop kettle and cordless electric jug kettle will be available in heritage prints from the Laura Ashley archive – Elveden Navy, Elveden White and China Rose. The floral prints evoke a sense of romance and femininity, adding a fresh take on kitchen essentials.
“We are thrilled to expand our reach with Laura Ashley, a brand known for its timeless elegance and commitment to quality,” says Jonathan Merricks, chief executive officer, creative director, VQ. “The Elveden and China Rose prints hold a special place in the hearts of many and we are excited to incorporate its charm into our range of kitchen appliances for America. This represents our dedication to celebrating the 70-year journey of Laura Ashley by offering our customers something truly remarkable and extraordinary.”
“Kitchens today are more beautiful and thoughtfully curated than ever before,” says Carolyn D’Angelo, senior managing director, Gordon Brothers Brands, president, Laura Ashley Global. “The new range of floral-print tea kettles and toasters makes an everyday essential into something charming; customers will be proud to have their appliances on display. The partnership between VQ and Laura Ashley U.S. celebrates a shared commitment to quality craftsmanship, timeless design and a passion for creating inspiring products that enrich everyday life.”
The new collection is available online at Wayfair, Bed Bath & Beyond, HSN, QVC and Home Depot.
