Levi’s x New Balance MT580 Hit the Streets

Levi’s and New Balance are teaming up again with a new footwear collaboration. The latest collection is inspired by the pioneers of mountain biking, a sport that gained popularity in the 1970s in Marin County, California, and whose early adopters often wore Levi’s jeans on their rides. 

The new collection pairs the New Balance MT580 with classic Levi’s touches. The MT580 is one of the most distinctive offerings from New Balance, known for its chunky, trail-equipped design. It has recently been reissued with a modernized trail design, featuring a slimmed-down toe and reduced collar height. 

The Levi’s spin on these shoes are available in two colorways: beige/black and gray/blue. The beige/black colorway is crafted with hairy suede uppers and integrates washed-black Levi’s denim on the toe box and side panels. The gray/blue colorway is crafted with Nubuck leather uppers and integrates overdyed Levi’s denim on the toe box and side panels. Both come with a signature Levi’s Red Tab, Levi’s denim, three sets of interchangeable laces and a special-edition box.
