Saveur continues to build its Saveur Selects licensing program with a new line of ice cream and frozen treats. The brand has agreed to terms with Secret Creamery to produce a custom premium line of ice cream flavors.
“Secret Creamery is a premier manufacturer who is generating a lot of excitement for their unique flavor profiles,” says Richard Oren, licensing head, North Equity. “Their creativity and passion for ice cream is the perfect complement to a brand like Saveur, which explores the world of global cuisine. We know working with them will yield unique flavors with broad appeal. This is a natural extension of the Saveur brand and we feel we’ve found the perfect partner to produce and distribute Saveur Selects ice cream.”
Based in Las Vegas, Secret Creamery is one of the United States’ leading manufacturers of small-batch artisan ice cream. Hand-crafted from locally sourced ingredients, each batch features memorable flavors in premium packaging.
“We’ve been fans of Saveur for a long time, and we’re so excited to be partnering with such an iconic brand name, under which we can develop some of our most compelling flavors to date,” says Brian Mosko, managing partner, Secret Creamery. “Saveur is known for its high-quality, accessible and diverse content and we feel like our mission completely aligns with theirs.”
Saveur’s ice cream line will launch in the spring in mass, grocery and e-commerce channels as well as direct-to-consumer via the Saveur and Secret Creamery websites. Saveur Selects custom flavors will be available in pints, quarts, single-serving and novelty sizes.
Saveur Selects ice cream joins Saveur’s line of licensed products including stainless steel cookware, bakeware, enameled cast iron cookware collection, kitchen knives and sauces and spices. Saveur is actively seeking new licensees and partners in kitchen electrics, confections, frozen, and other categories.
