The recently-formed Brand Licensing Team plans to develop a licensing program and a product portfolio for restaurant chain Chick-fil-A.

"We believe that extending the Chick-fil-A brand through licensing allows us to further connect and deepen relationships with our consumers," says Steve Nedvidek, Chick-fil-A's senior manager of marketing. "BLT's experience and capabilities on extending a brand through strategic products, centered around great design and distributed through the right channels, will enhance our brand and deliver the quality our consumers expect. These were the primary reasons we chose BLT to be our new partner."

Chick-fil-A operates 1,425 locations in 38 states. BLT opened its Atlanta office in March, and is headed by former Coca-Cola worldwide licensing and retail department executives, Cindy Birdsong and John Shero. The firm serves as the boutique agency for The Coca-Cola Company.
