Asembl has expanded Golden Gaytime’s licensing program with food licensing deals.
February 3, 2021
Unilever Australia’s brand extension agency, Asembl, has developed Golden Gaytime’s licensing program to include food licensing deals, which will see Snack Brands Australia and Chocolatier Australia partner with the Australian ice cream brand.
“The Asembl team has delivered two very exciting food partnerships for Golden Gaytime that will see our much-loved ice-cream brand extend into the snack food aisles as flavored popcorn and an Eggsellent Easter Egg,” says Samantha Jarmul, brand manager, Unilever Australia. “We are pleased to be partnering with both Snack Brands Australia and Chocolatier Australia to deliver our Golden Gaytime fans with snacks that they are guaranteed to enjoy.”
The Griffin’s Marvels Golden Gaytime Popcorn by Snack Brands comes in two flavors, original and chocolate. Launching in February, Snack Brands Australia’s Golden Gaytime flavored popcorn will be available from selected Coles supermarkets nationally in March.
Chocolatier Australia’s Golden Gaytime Eggsellence Easter Egg, coated with Golden Gaytime crumbs and the ice-cream’s toffee flavor, will be available in Woolworths stores nationally from March.
“We are thrilled to extend the famous flavors of Golden Gaytime and enhance the brand’s mega snacking credentials beyond the freezer and into the snack aisle with the launch of these two food partnerships,” says Justin Watson, managing director, Asembl. “Both Snack Brands Australia’s Griffin’s Marvels Popcorn and Chocolatier’s Eggsellence Easter Egg combine everything you love about Golden Gaytime and much more.”
