Hormel Foods' Spam brand has kicked off the cross-country Spamerican Tour with Food Network chef Sunny Anderson.

Over the next three months a Spam-branded food truck will be making stops at 12 summer events across the U.S. including the CMA Festival in Nashville and Taste of Chicago.

Anderson has created a special menu of Spam offerings that will be complemented with additions from local chefs at each stop. Among the dishes on the roster are a Kimchi Spam Musubi croissant by Chef Sharon Wang in Los Angeles, a SPAMmy Tot by Chef Robert Lam of San Francisco and a Spam & Jack pretzel sandwich by Chicago's Chef Kevin Hickey.
