ASIA- Kentucky Fried Chicken is celebrating 30 years in China by cooking up an unusual collaboration with Chinese smartphone maker Huawei for a co-branded device.

The partnership was announced in a video on KFC’s Weibo account last week, showing a bright-red Huawei 7 Plus that will feature the Colonel Sanders logo and pre-installed branded apps including the “KFC” app and K-Music, KFC’s new jukebox function.

A total of 5,000 units of the limited-edition phone will be released for 1,099 yuan ($161.91).

KFC opened its first restaurant in Beijing in November 1987, and now boasts more than 7,600 locations across China.
