Vans has teamed up with Crayola again, more than a decade since the first Vans x Crayola collaboration in 2010. This time, the two have created a colorful collection of footwear, apparel and accessories. Featuring designs influenced by the look of Crayola art tools across Vans styles, the collection celebrates creativity and the colorful ways we express ourselves.
“Crayola encourages everyone to ‘step up’ and color outside the lines,” says Warren Schorr, vice president of business development and global licensing, Crayola. "We are excited to reunite with Vans to offer a collection with a fresh take on creativity.”
The collection includes the Authentic Van Doren Inspired and Authentic DIY/Sketch Your Way styles, updated with playful coloring-book style repeat prints. The white upper of the ComfyCush SK8-Hi is a blank canvas ready to be personalized.
The Vans Classic Slip-On and the SK8-Hi sport textured rubber soles for crayon rubbing, and the cotton canvas Vans x Crayola mini backpack has top handles.
Vans x Crayola apparel and accessories complement the collection. Cotton T-shirts and hoodies adorned with hand-drawn illustrations hang with the Vans x Crayola Crayon tee with a scribbled Vans' checkerboard motif down the sleeve. A brushed poly backpack with printed details, 5-panel jockey hat, and Vans x Crayola crew socks round out the upbeat offering of everyday staples.
