Popeye and Starter Brazil Team Up for Streetwear Collection

The nautical-themed apparel and accessories line will launch in summer 2022.

King Features Syndicate, a unit of Hearst, along with its local agent in Brazil, Vertical Licensing, and Starter, an apparel brand owned by NTK Textil in the territory, announced a new streetwear collection inspired by sailorman, Popeye. The new apparel and accessories collection further solidifies the beloved character as one of the most sought-after pop culture properties in Latin America. 

The Starter x Popeye collection will include apparel and accessories with designs inspired by the sailorman’s nautical lifestyle. The streetwear fashions include a variety of men’s T-shirts, printed windbreaker, shorts, embroidered caps, socks and a shoulder bag featuring Popeye and his famous spinach can.
