To celebrate the global launch of “The Remix: Hip Hop x Fashion” on Netflix, MCM teamed up with global creative partner, Misa Hylton, to create The Remix Shop by Misa Hylton, a curated assortment of MCM styles.

The limited-edition assortment is available online and in select stores now. It contains a mix of core and new arrivals from MCM's autumn and winter 20 collection.

"MCM engages with an international community of creative minds from various backgrounds and disciplines,” says Dirk Schönberger, global creative officer, MCM. “Misa is one of those cultural pioneers. Our aim is to provide her with a platform and a voice to showcase her work and spread her message.”

As part of the collaboration, MCM will support The Misa Hylton Fashion Academy. The line is inspired by “The Remix: Hip Hop x Fashion,” a documentary that chronicles the contributions of Misa Hylton and April Walker in male-dominated industries.

"With this assortment of my favorite MCM styles, I wish to express the importance of women as fashion forces and also show the key role that MCM has played in sharing our work with a wider audience," says Misa Hylton, global creative partner, MCM.
