Ittierre, part of the Italian IT Holding Group that is in protective administration in Italy, has won a new deal from designer Roberto Cavalli for the exclusive global license for the production and distribution of Just Cavalli womenswear and menswear collections, including ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories.

The five-year deal up to the fall/winter 2014-2015 season, replaces the previous license agreements between the IT Holding Group and Roberto Cavalli, and also includes the settlement of disputes and claims related to the former license relationship. The new license agreement is subject to approval by Italian courts.

The deal contains a worldwide marketing and communications plan for the Just Cavalli collection, including fashion catwalks during the official Milan Fashion Week starting with the spring/summer 2010 collection.

"The agreement with Cavalli confirms the strong international position and the unique know-how of the IT Holding Group," says the extraordinary commissioners, appointed to control Ittiere. "We feel enthusiastic about renewing this partnership with the internationally known and commercially successful Just Cavalli brand, which we believe retains a high growth potential. In the current market situation, the positive energy and creativity of the designer are distinctive assets, which will be key in the future success of this partnership."

The Just Cavalli runway was cancelled at February's Milan Fashion Week.

IT Holding owns Gianfranco Ferré, Malo and Extè, and licenses for VJC Versace, Versace Sport, Just Cavalli, C'N'C Costume National and Galliano.
