Aardman's plasticine Morph character, made famous by the late Tony Hart, is being celebrated by Esquire magazine.

As part of a salute to Hart, Esquire is outfitting Morph in a first-time wardrobe of designer clothes by Burberry, Gucci and Prada and turning him into a magazine cover-star. Each of Morph's outfits is a miniature recreation of an original.

Morph has always appeared naked since debuting on an episode of "Take Hart" on the BBC in 1977. Peter Lord, Aardman's co-founder, sketched out the fashion scenes for Morph and his sidekick Chaz.
