Sequential's Home Division Gets New President

NORTH AMERICA–Sequential Brands Group has appointed Carolyn D’Angelo to serve as the company’s president of its home division.

Former Iconix executive Carolyn D’Angelo will now oversee Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse and Linens N’ Things for the brand management company.

NORTH AMERICA–Sequential Brands Group has appointed Carolyn D’Angelo to serve as the company’s president of its home division.

D’Angelo will now be responsible for the company’s brands within the division including Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse and Linens N’ Things. She will report directly to Karen Murrary, chief executive officer, Sequential.

Prior to Sequential, D’Angelo spent 10 years with Iconix, where she served as the executive vice president of the company’s women’s and home divisions, overseeing 16 brands in the portfolio. She was also responsible for launching the brand management company’s home division.

Before that, she was senior vice president of Ralph Lauren Home and corporate marketing at Westpoint Home, where she managed the team responsible for the Ralph Lauren bed and bath business.  She was served as senior vice president of marketing and licensing at Waverly Lifestyle Group as well as vice president and general manager of the Disney division at Springs Industries.

“Carolyn has an established track record of building some of the best brands in home,” says Murray. “She is smart, strategic and brings with her a depth of knowledge and experience in the licensing business. She is a huge asset to our company and I’m thrilled to have her as part of our executive team.”
