NORTH AMERICA–Redbubble has tapped Christopher Schmidt to serve as its director of partnerships and promotions.

In his new role, Schmidt will be responsible for working with clients to generate more opportunities for the artists that participate in the Redbubble marketplace.

Prior to joining Redbubble, Schmidt served as the global brand manager of retail and IP/brand expansion at Nintendo; senior buyer and senior product manager at Target; and a buyer at Victoria’s Secret and Abercrombie & Fitch.

“Redbubble has the best fan base of independent artists on the planet, showcasing their passion and bringing more creativity into the world each day on our site.,” says Eric Morse, senior vice president, partnerships, and general manager, global licensing. “Chris’ experience at managing brands, from Nintendo to those found at Target, will help inspire new, innovative ways for artists to feature their works–both on and off Redbubble.com."
