One Animation Names Koeckler as EVP

Licensing exec is on board to create new business opportunities and partnerships for the global animation studio.

One Animation has appointed Bettina Koeckler to the role of executive vice president, global consumer products and licensing.

In her newly created position, Koeckler will execute the roll out for the studio’s properties throughout key global markets in 2016 and beyond. She will also be responsible for creating new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining One Animation, Koeckler served as senior vice president for Fox Consumer Products EMEA, as well as vice president of licensing for Sony Pictures Consumer Products. She has also created and led consumer product campaigns and geographical and commercial expansion for brands such as “The Simpsons,” Ice Age, Beatrix Potter and “Winx Club,” among others.

“Our consumer strategy to capitalize on the success of our shows is a core part of our business plan,” says Sashim Parmanand, chief executive officer, One Animation. “To make this happen we’ve created this new role to oversee all of our marketing, licensing and product development teams, as well as strategic partnerships and overall management of retail, agent and agency relationships.”
