Nitro Circus Appoints Licensing Head

Action sports entertainment company Nitro Circus has tapped veteran consumer products executive Peter Maule to develop its global licensing and retail business.

Action sports entertainment company Nitro Circus has tapped veteran consumer products executive Peter Maule to develop its global licensing and retail business as the company expands into new ventures. 

Recently named by Forbes as one of America’s Most Promising Companies, the Nitro Circus brand encompasses a global live tour, television content in more than 60 countries, 6 million Facebook fans and digital offerings that receive 100 million views each month.

In his new role as global head of licensing, Maule will focus on leveraging Nitro Circus’ brand and IP as well as developing strategic licensing and retail partnerships worldwide across all platforms. Key product categories include home entertainment, video games, apps and mobile, toys, apparel and publishing.

Maule will lead Nitro Circus’ presence at Licensing Expo 2015 in Las Vegas, Nev., this June, which will include a special live performance on the show floor.

Over the course of more than two decades, Maule has held senior executive positions with some of the world’s largest sports and entertainment firms including The Walt Disney Company, Hallmark Cards, Corus Entertainment and WWE.
