She will lead strategic communications for the cable entertainment group as well as the studios Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studios, which develop programming and digital content for global platforms, including USA Network, Syfy, Bravo, E! Entertainment, Oxygen and Esquire Network.

Caceros Kilde will also be responsible for all consumer and trade media relations on behalf of the studios and will work with Cory Shields, executive vice president, communications, NBCU Cable Entertainment, to develop a West Coast communications strategy for the cable portfolio including business affairs.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Caceros Kilde was director of corporate communications at The Walt Disney Company where she managed strategic communications for the office of the CEO, including speaking engagements and top-tier media relations. She was also communications advisor to Disney’s corporate citizenship, corporate brand management and corporate real estate divisions, and was lead social media strategist. She joined Disney in 2004 as head of communications, public relations and social media for Disney Consumer Products.

She began her career in broadcast news as producer and assignment editor of newscasts at CNN, UPN News and Inside Edition.

“Nidia has an exceptional track record in communications, having worked with some of the world’s most renowned brands and companies,” says Jeff Wachtel, president and chief content officer, NBCU. “She brings a wealth of experience, both strategically and creatively, that will help enormously in the long-term positioning of our in-house studios.”
