DeAPlaneta Boosts Marketing Team

DeAPlaneta Group, parent company of DeAPlaneta Cine and Planeta Junior, has appointed Pío Vernis as its new marketing director.

This addition comes as a result of growing interaction between DeAPlaneta Group’s production and marketing efforts, spurred by the increased international presence of Planeta Junior following the company’s expansion into Turkey and Eastern Europe, the incorporation of the DreamWorks portfolio, as well as the launch of new productions.

In his new role Vernis will work to maximize the synergies between DeAPlaneta Cina and Planeta Junior and develop a joint strategy for all countries where Planeta Junior is present.

Vernis was marketing manager for the Cinema area of DeAPlaneta between 1999 and 2005. In 2013, he returned to the company as marketing director of DeAPlaneta Cine.
