Copyright Promotions Licensing Group, a DHX Media company, has appointed Stephen Gould as its new U.K. managing director, following the departure of Vickie O’Malley after 12 years with the company.

Gould is currently commercial director at DHX Media and was previously commercial director at Ragdoll Worldwide, where he managed global brands including Teletubbies and In the Night Garden. Before joining Ragdoll, Stephen held several senior positions in the licensing industry including commercial director at RDF Rights and co-managing director at 4Kids Entertainment International and 4Sight Licensing Solutions.

“Stephen has an impressive track record in building major global brands with experience not only as a licensee, licensor and agent, but also with a background in sourcing and development,” says Peter Byrne, chief executive officer, CPLG, to whom Gould will report. “He is going to be a great asset to CPLG. I would like to thank Vickie for her incredible work and immense passion as part of CPLG over the last 12 years and wish her the very best in her future endeavors.  I look forward to Stephen taking the helm as the company gears up for next phase of growth.”
