Tim Juckes, who began his career producing Power Rangers t-shirts, has been tapped as the new sales director of U.K. consumer products at Saban Brands.

Juckes will manage all licensing, retail and marketing efforts in the region, in addition to identifying new growth opportunities and supporting Saban’s activity for its core brands in the U.K., including Power Rangers.

Juckes joins Saban Brands after holding multiple senior design, sales and retail roles during his 17-year tenure at Copyright Promotions Licensing Group, most recently serving as sales and retail director. During his time at CPLG, Juckes spearheaded product development across Europe for Lucasfilms, oversaw the retail launch of Activision’s Skylanders franchise and managed cross-category activity for Universal’s Despicable Me 2 in both the U.K. and Ireland.

“Tim was first a fan, then a partner and now a colleague, which makes him a terrific voice for Saban Brands in the U.K.,” says Gustavo Antonioni, managing director, consumer products, Europe, Saban, to whom Juckes will report. “His experience in licensing and unparalleled connections with U.K. retail is essential to our continued growth in the market. He has a strong understanding of both the business landscape and the customer demand and we are thrilled to have him join the team.”
