C3 Entertainment, home of The Three Stooges, is making a push into the TV/film/digital space with the appointment of Pablo Velez Jr. as director of development and production.

In his new role, Velez will utilize C3’s iconic brands and extensive library to create new projects for multi-media consumption.

Current projects in the pipeline include a Three Stooges film, a Three Stooges animated TV series and a Grizzly Adams TV drama series.

“Pablo has the background we wanted to move forward in creating new content offerings for our classic brands for both television and film and to expand our library’s already global digital presence into more markets with more media offerings for entertainment content consumers,” says Earl Benjamin, president and chief executive officer, C3, to whom Velez will report.

Pablo comes to C3 from 20th Century Fox and has also worked for major television cable networks including Nickelodeon, E! Entertainment, Bravo and PBS.

“I grew up as a huge Stooge fan so to work with a legacy brand like The Three Stooges, is a dream come true,” says Velez. “I look forward to tapping into C3’s vast library to develop new content for today’s audiences.”
