More than 76,000 professionals from 112 countries traveled to Nuremberg, Germany, for the largest ever Spielwarenmesse toy fair last week. This year’s show saw a 5 percent increase in attendance from 2013.
Among the highlights of the show were the new TrendGallery and an expanded Baby and Infant section. License! Global hosted a seminar at the event to discuss new trends in entertainment licensing that featured executives from Activision, Lima Sky (creators of “Doodle Jump”) and Beanstalk’s new digital licensing division Tinderbox.
