Gamer-Inspired Digital Collectible Cards Set to Launch

Stream management firm Loaded has teamed with Epics.gg to release a digital collectible card and sticker set featuring some of the top gaming influencers. According to The Esports Observer, the two companies have commissioned custom artwork and photography for the digital items over the last 12 months.

The artwork and photography feature the likes of Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, Ben “Dr. Lupo” Lupo, Jaryd “Summit1G” Lazar and Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar. The sets link to highlight clips and include digital signatures.

“When we started Epics, we naturally felt that streamers would be very collectible and that a set for Twitch talent would be a lot of fun to make,” Mark Donovan, co-founder, Epics.gg, told The Esports Observer. “Just like our CS:GO cards, all of our items are unique digital objects – which means they are all separately tracked including their entire ownership history, and they also each have a unique mint number showing the batch and number that the card was produced in.” 

During the week of launch, Epics is planning to donate 30 percent of its proceeds from streamer collection sales to charities to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations will be split evenly between American Red Cross and Feeding America in partnership with fundraising tool Tiltify.
