Bulldog Licensing has signed on to represent the CBBC kids’ drama “Wolfblood” for licensing in the U.K.

The award-winning fantasy series centers on two teenagers who live a secret life as Wolfbloods, which are humans that can turn into wolves. The series has spawned a rabid following in its first two seasons, with fans referring to themselves as “wolfpackers.”

The BBC recently confirmed that filming for season three would begin early this year, with broadcast scheduled for later in 2014.

Bulldog plans to build on “Wolfblood’s” cult status with a strategy that initially targets apparel, accessories, publishing, board games, card games and stationery.

“‘Wolfblood’ is massive and is only going to get bigger, so we are very excited about this deal,” says Rob Corney, managing director, Bulldog Group. “With overtones of Twilight to the show, as well as superb style guide already available, the licensing potential for ‘Wolfblood’ is immense. We are expecting to be announcing deals very soon.”
