'Steven Universe' Inspires Voodoo Doughnut

Voodoo Doughnut will feature the popular animated series at its locations in Los Angeles, Texas, Oregon and Colorado.

NORTH AMERICA–Cartoon Network and Voodoo Doughnuts have come together for a series of promotional activities to celebrate the release of the first season of “Steven Universe” on DVD.

Cartoon Network will celebrate the launch with an event at Voodoo Doughnuts in Los Angeles’ Universal CityWalk on Feb. 3. The event will feature an statue of Steven Universe created with more than 800 donuts. The event will also feature meet-and-greet opportunities with the voice stars of the show.

On the same day, a variety of “Steven Universe”-inspired doughnuts will be available for purchase at Voodoo Doughnut locations in Austin, Tex.; Portland, Ore. and Denver, Colo.
