The two-day festival will celebrate the annual SI Swimsuit issue and raise funds for hurricane relief.

NORTH AMERICA–Time Inc’s Sports Illustrated has teamed up with Nomadic Entertainment Group and Revelry Eleven to bring the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit brand to life in a new festival event in Miami.

Timed to coincide with the iconic SI Swimsuit issue, the inaugural “SI Swimsuit Island” festival will take place on Miami Beach, Feb. 16-18.

The two-day and two-night event will include some of the biggest musical acts in the world, a high-end culinary offering, exclusive fan activations, panels and appearances by both past and present SI Swimsuit models and celebrity guests.

The event will kick off with “Good Vibes,” a charitable experience that will benefit hurricane relief for the Caribbean islands affected by this past season, many of which have been the backdrops of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue photo shoots (20 of the islands have featured on the cover since the brand launched in 1964).

This multi-year licensing agreement for “SI Swimsuit Island” comes just a few months after SI Swimsuit announced that it would create a line of swimwear and apparel with RAJ Swim. The new line will debut in early 2018 and be integrated into “SI Swimsuit Island.”
