Channel X, one of the U.K.’s leading comedy and entertainment specialists, has been commissioned by CBBC to produce a third season of the children’s sitcom, “So Awkward.”

“So Awkward” is a comedy about three socially awkward friends–Lily, Martha and Jas. While other girls are going to parties, netball practice and sleepovers, this trio is busy with chess club, homework and Friday nights in watching documentaries. In spite of their ups and downs, they are learning it’s not only ok to be different, but it is important.

Season two of the series will air on CBBC this summer.
