Snowdog Sculptures Decorate U.K. Streets

Snowdog Enterprises, a Penguin Random House company, has joined up with creative event producers Wild in Art for a new three-year partnership that will see the creation of themed art trails in the U.K.

Snowdog and Wild in Art will bring 1.5-meter high sculptures inspired by the animated film The Snowman and the Snowdog to public art trails in Sunderland, South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead and Brighton & Hove beginning in fall 2016.

The public art trails, funded by corporate sponsors from the respective regions, will see Snowdog sculptures decorated by local artists. The Great North Snowdogs event will be coordinated by St. Oswald’s Hospice, and the Snowdogs by the Sea event in Brighton & Hove will be coordinated by Martlets Hospice.
