

Featuring a new look for Sonic and his friends, the new brand will see one of the largest licensing initiatives SEGA has undertaken in recent years, as well as the company’s first-ever, CG-animated television series.
The “Sonic Boom” (52 x 11) television series, which is being coproduced by SEGA of America and OuiDO! Productions, will debut on Cartoon Network in 2015.
Australian licensing agent Merchantwise is working with SEGA to expand the global merchandising campaign for the property, which will be anchored by the new master toy partner Tomy.
Tomy’s line will showcase the fresh character looks and innovative play patterns based on the new TV series. It will span a broad number of categories including plush, action figures, remote control, role play, vehicles and novelty.
