Rocklove Debuts Star Trek Jewelry

CBS Consumer Products has launched a new line of Original Star Trek jewelry from licensee Rocklove.

The line of rings, bracelets, necklaces, charms, keychains and earrings features iconic Star Trek imagery such as phasers, communicators, phrases like "Where no man has gone before" and of course the Starship Enterprise.

Rocklove is also collaborating on lines for a number of other entertainment franchises including History Channel's "Viking," Showtime's "Penny Dreadful," Bethesda's "Skyrim" and EA's "Dragon Age."

Diamond Comics has signed on to distribute the lines with deals already in place with Treehouse, GeekNet and ThinkGeek.

"Until now it's been difficult to marry quality with cost effectiveness, no matter what the type of product," says Allison Hourcade, owner, RockLove. "Often times when a company is hired, they are either geeks (creative directors who don't know jewelry) or they are industry (jewelers that don't know the IP). As a jeweler and self-labeled nerd, I hope RockLove can be the go-to for IP-owned sophisticated wearable merchandise."
