'Rick and Morty' Heads to the Snack Aisle

FYE will launch a range of exclusive confectionery goods for Adult Swim’s animated cult series.

NORTH AMERICA–Cartoon Network Enterprises and Adult Swim have teamed up with FYE to debut the first-ever confectionery and snacks collection based on the hit animated series “Rick and Morty.”

The new line will initially launch with an exclusive cereal, called “Strawberry Smiggles,” which is inspired by the “Rick and Morty” episode entitled “Rixty Minutes.”

Following the debut of Strawberry Smiggles, FYE will launch character-specific chocolate bars as well as one-of-a-kind gummy products.

The “Rick and Morty”-inspired confectionery line will launch at FYE stores this fall. Additionally, the FYE pop-up location at San Diego Comic Con, July 20-23, will be collecting pre-orders for Strawberry Smiggles as well as feature an oversized cereal box for photo opportunities.

Created and executive produced by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, “Rick and Morty” follows a sociopathic genius scientist and his timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures throughout the universe.

The third season of “Rick and Morty” will premiere on Adult Swim, July 30.
